In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing production plans, forecasting inventory levels, and managing relationships with overseas suppliers.
Your role will also involve collaborating with sales and marketing teams to understand business trends and align planning strategies accordingly.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, supply change knowledge, and experience in demand planning and procurement.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to understand business trends, market dynamics, and customer demands, and incorporate this information into planning strategies.
Forecast inventory levels based on demand forecasts, sales trends, and production capabilities to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
Place purchase orders with overseas suppliers, considering lead times, cost factors, and quality requirements.
Manage relationships with overseas suppliers, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of goods, resolving issues, and optimizing costs.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align planning activities with sales forecasts, marketing campaigns, and new product introductions.
Monitor external factors, such as supplier delays and changes in economic or political situations and adjust production plans accordingly.
Analyze actual results against forecasts, including sales, orders, shipments, and inventory levels, and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop phased-in and phased-out schedules for new product introductions.
Utilize advanced planning systems and tools to optimize planning processes and enhance efficiency.
Possibility of managing a team of management/professional employees, including performance evaluation, training, and mentoring.
